Analytics and User Data

Organizations looking to collect and track user metrics are able to analyze and benchmark performance data with the simpleAR Pro Analytics Portal. To access the Analytics Portal, Users must be granted Admin privelages from an Organizational IT Admin.

Please contact the designated IT Admin in your Organization to provide Admin access.

Setting Up Analytics Events

Analytics Events are setup and instrumented by simpleAR Pro Application Developers. Developers can add new or update events via the App Manager.

Setting Event Benchmarks

Event Benchmarks can be set and updated by the simpleAR Pro Application Developer when configuring the Event. An Event Benchmark is visualized as a Horizontal marker in chart visualizations to compare a cohort or grouping of users to the Organization-defined benchmark for that Event.

Exploring and Filtering Data with the Analytics Dashboard

The Analytics Dashboard allows filtering and interactive charting for tracked events in a simpleAR Pro Application.

To access user data and performance visualization:

  • Login to the simpleAR Admin Portal
  • Select the Analytics tab
  • Select the specified Date Range (Start Date and End Date) for the data you want to view
  • Select the Organization
  • Select the Application
  • Select the specific Event to view performance data for
  • Select the User(s) to view Event data for

Each Event Type maps to a specific visualization to allow for comparison of user metrics.

For Numeric Events and Time in Seconds Events, a single barchart will be displayed for the selected filters grouped by User. Each bar represents the User's Average over the selected period.

Exporting Data to CSV

Data can be exported on an Event-basis for the selected filters into .csv format.
