Installation Guide

This guide is intended for Developers looking to get started building with simpleAR Pro.

Minimum Requirements

Installing simpleAR Pro

1. Download and Install the Unity Editor

  • Get the latest version of Unity Hub from Unity.
  • Launch Unity Hub, and select the Installs tab.
  • Click the Add button, and select any LTS version >2020 of Unity to install.

2. Download and Import simpleAR Pro

  • Get the latest release of simpleAR Pro.
  • Open a new or existing Unity Project.
  • In an opened Unity Project, select the Assets > Import Package > Custom Package in the top toolbar.
  • Select Import to import the simpleAR Pro Package.

3. Launch simpleAR Pro and Activate

  • If the Splash Screen does not auto-launch, select the SimpleAR Pro > About SimpleAR Pro menu item from the top toolbar
  • Click Setup SimpleAR Pro from the Splash Window to begin setup
  • In Activate SimpleAR Pro window, select a valid License File or contact us at info@simplear.io with your simpleAR Pro ID.

4. Explore Setup Wizard

  • Continue the Setup Wizard to start learning how to create using simpleAR Pro.
